This is my 145th post since I started this blog 2 years ago. This crib of thoughts has been the home of my ups and downs during my Junior and Senior years in high school. But I guess I want a new home for the upcoming chapters of my life, so I decided to move to tumblr.

Wasted 200 bucks
Friday, May 15, 2009, 2:39 PM

The beginnings and endings are just markings of a great journey. The important things are the events that happened between the opening scene and credits. Well, I wasted 200 pesos for my movie ticket last night when my cousins and I went to see X-Men Origin: Wolverine while our moms watched BFF. I fell a sleep through out the movie, I just caught a glimpse of the first and last scenes. I will just catch the rest of the movie in the DVD :))

LPEP 2k9

"Pare, magiging Engineer ako!!"

Entering the gates of my second home for the next 4 years gave me chills. Reminiscing the summers when my sister toured me around Taft. Remembering the nerve-wrecking entrance test I took last October. Now I’m part of a new community. Ready to meet new friends and inspirations.

Last Monday and Tuesday, I attended the Lasallian Personal Effectiveness Program or otherwise known as LPEP. We are welcomed by our Ates and Kuyas with fun yet still informative activities. I belong to block E-71, the only block in College of Engineering which is dominated by girls. Who say that Engineering is just for boys? We are in the 21st century, for God sake!! Attending the LPEP gave me a bird’s eye view of what is in store for me for the next 4 years and a term (crossing my fingers to finish my very challenging course). Aside from discussing our Academic concerns, Rules and Regulation around the campus, we also had to meet some organization in La Salle. We also had Animo Building which aims to wake to Lasallian spirit in us.

One and a half more week to go before the most anticipated May 25. Honestly, I am still over-whelmed by the fact that I’m going to college but I must move on and face another roller coaster ride called COLLEGE.

Friends come and go, but with a precious few you should hold on.

IV - St. Helena 08-09 has already sign off from St. Paul and the drama of high school but it does not mean that we can't be together and party 'till we drop. Few hours ago, I was surrounded by great people who will certainly change the world. The people who stand with me through my last year in high school. We are not just classmates, we are one big happy family. Thank you for the great memories and see you around. We may take different paths but I know we will all see each other again :)

Well, I just visited La Salle's site and found out how much is my tuition. Expensive, I know. Kailangan magsunog ng kilay for the next couple terms para silit ang money :)) My enrollment will be on Wednesday. Excited? Not much but I'm sad because summer will end 3 weeks from now :(

Bye! I maybe going to transfer to tumblr if some miracle will happen and give an antidote for my laziness.

Two posts in one day, I think I don't need to present a two-column proof to show how bored I am. Well, my family supposed to go to Manila Ocean Park tonight but it got postponed and same goes for our Subic trip this weekend. I'm watching the new episode of Grey's Anatomy so if you're a fan click here!

Aside from absorbing an immense amount of radiation in front of the computer and television, I still manage to read few very inspiring books this rainy summer. How Starbucks Saved My Life by Michael Gills and All I Really Need To Know I learned In Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum are some of the books I indulge during the past days. I give them two thumbs up!

How Starbucks Saved My Life by Michael Gills is a really inspiring story of a man who had everything and in the bat of an eyelash all of the success vanished. At the age of 67, he is determined to start his life all over again. Well, the book did tempt me to grab a hundred-pesos-worth-of-coffee but most of all it inspire me to be a barista. Maybe I’m going to try to be one someday :)

All I Really Need To Know I learned In Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum is another book which say that the foundation of our life are the simplest curtsies we learned during our first year in school. The book made me realized that it has been 12 years seen my kindergarten years. To be honest, I really miss those days were all I need to worry about is what I’m going to have during recess. Well, few weeks from now I’ll be entering another phase in my life. At this moment, I feel that I’m still not ready for it but at the same time I’m very excited to be in a new environment with different people.

Well, I did not join the YFC camp because according to my parents that summer should be spend with FAMILY. I’m still mad that them but they promise that we will have a nice weekend together. I just hope they keep their promise.
