a pathetic line....
Sunday, January 11, 2009, 12:17 PM
How often do you say, "I'm fine"?Often enough that you are sick of saying it? Often enough that you are unconsciously uttering it? Those words are just lame excuse for shielding our self to the reality that we are not really fine. Only pathetic people say that there fine even it is very obvious that they are about to cry. But maybe sometimes we need to be pathetic so we can't feel the pain, so we can move on. Well, I feel great after the frustration I felt yesterday. My family really knows how to make me smile. They are my happy hormones. Today, I'm stuck in with my assignments especially my SURING-BASA for Mga Ibong Mandaragit. I really suck in writing in Filipino! Tomorrow is Monday. Most likely I'll have my Monday sickness again.hahaha. Friday will be another judgement day, it is the distribution of cards. So good luck to everyone. I hope we will all have a great week :) 0 Comments:don't cry over a spilled milk (but it's not just a milk)

We don't wish for the easy stuff. We wish for big things. Things that are Just got home from my weekly PEM (Program of Excellence in Mathematics) in Ateneo. While we were there, Pat and I took the opportunity to peek at the ACET results. Sadly, I wasn't able to make it. I did not pass the entrance test to my dream school. I just finished crying over it. Thanks to my uber best friend, Katrina Bulgar, who made me realized that it is not the end of the world and maybe Ateneo is really not for me. I guess, I'm destined to be a Little Miss Green Archer. So you'll see me in Taft next school year, but I'm still crossing my fingers for the University of the Philippines. My el familia is going to Mall of Asia to celebrate my failure, as sarcastic as it sound. But seriously I really need to end my short but heart-breaking post. I'm just going to update when I find out the results of UP and UST. Bye :) 1 Comments:jamie! its ok! you tried your best. But maybe ateneo is really not for you. there are more great things that will come your way. OKAY lang yan. basta ateneo will always be our dream school. haha. Few days from now Mr. Old Dusty Christmas tree will be returning in his box, the colorful Christmas lights will leave our street dark again, and the jolly Christmas carols will slowly fade. The holidays will soon be over. We all need to go back to reality hoping and wishing 365 days full of love and laughter.2 days from now I'll be going back to school to spend my last 3 months in high school. But like Mommy Eds (my homeroom adviser) always say, "The fight is not yet over!" Three months is still three freaking months which more or less 90 days and I know that a lot can happen in 90 days. But I guess this day ends my V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N, the moment my dad knocked on my door and said, "Jamie, Eljay told me that may result na daw ang La Salle." When the words La Salle and results finally sinked in my system, I felt nervous, excited and afraid. Pictures start poping in my mind and worries creep over my veins. When I recovered my sanity, I opened the laptop then stumble on DLSU website. I prayed while waiting to the site to load, then suddenly that damn "ADDRESS NOT FOUND" thing popped up. Damn it! Believe or Not, I refreshed the site for a hundred freaking time and still nothing not even a single picture! I guess, I still need to WAIT! I just hope all these waiting and nerve-wrecking are worth it. 0 Comments: |
