eye bags...
Saturday, September 20, 2008, 6:55 PM

Anyone want some eye bags? 'Cause I will gladly give mine. I'm born with small eyes so my eyes don't have those round dark arcs underneath them, not until now. Yeh, I'm kinda puyat from all the things I'm dealing with.

I have so many things to accomplish with so little time left. I'm bummed. I'm tired. My life so e'ffing miserable. I just want to get my 8 hours sleep a day, is it too much to ask? Got to go I still need to finish my CLVE and Physics assignment. Try to blog tomorrow after DLSU-ADMU first match-up. Too bad ate wasn't able to get tickets :) I'll post pictures from our retreat when I have time.

God will give you rest....

After our 2nd departmental test, we went ahead to Tagaytay for our RETREAT. I was waiting for this moment since I was in grade school. I remember the times I envied the seniors who were pulling their trolleys and saying goodbye to their friends, like they will be away for a year. So last Wednesday, it was my time to say goodbye to my friends for awhile and carry a big sports bag.

We stayed at La Verna House of Prayer at Tagaytay. The weather really made my stay. I love the cool breeze of wind and the drizzling rain. Plus the food was great, imagine 5 meals a day! Our retreat master, Fr. Carlos, was really good. I had my best confession ever with him. His words are like arrows that hit directly my heart. I'm thankful because I realize that God will find a way to lighten up our burden. The retreat was God's way to say, "jamie, stop muna mag-bonding muna tayo."

Some words from Fr. Carlos...
  • Love your Enemy, yes it is against our human nature but it can be done...
  • Saying goodbye is another way of saying I love you...
  • God never leaves us. We are the one who gets lost...
  • four things can't be taken back... 1)a stone that is thrown... 2) the word that was said... 3) occasion that is loss... 4) time after its gone..

During my confession...
Jamie: Father, I steal..
Fr. Kaloy: What did you steal?
Jamie (shy): Father... ballpen ho...
Jamie and Father: hahaha..*laughs*

September 14, 2008 I found myself surrounded with unfamiliar faces with fear and excitement in their eyes, hoping that they will pass the Ateneo College Entrance Test. My ever-supporting dad accompanied me to Ateneo since my mom and my sisters went to Batangas. As always, before I went out in our car my dad uttered some words of advice, "Jamie, don't panic, kaya mo yan :)" In the back for my mind I'm saying, "easy for you to say, you are not the one who will take the test." But I really appreciated those words especially coming from my dad. The test took 5 hours. 5 hours of pushing your brain-cells to give some correct answers. So my over-all assement is the test was HARD (wala naman madali for an average student like me). After the test I went straight to the parking lot to find my dad, and guess what did he asked me. "Anak maraming gwapo noh?" hahaha... ibang klase talaga ang daddy ko.

Feeling my Monday sickness today, still have a hangover from my saturday-family day and sunday ACET test. We checked some of our test papers and I failed my English test, Amen. But my Economics and Math tests filled up my lost self-esteem and pride. Bye ^_^
