4 Periodic tests down, 4 more to go plus the UPCAT!!As you all expected I'm going to rant about the 4 tests that really really broke my spirit and hacked the optimistic part of my soul... July 31, 2008 Our first test was ENGLISH. After spending 2 hours of reading and analyzing SIX epics, namely Aeneid, Nibelunganlied, Beowulf, Song of Roland, El Cid and Divine Comedy, for a whole night, then all of a sudden that 6 epics was just equal to 10 points of True or False. Test 1 (the critical vowel sound) was a shocker, it was totally different from what our teacher taught to us, since a different teacher made the test. And why on Earth do we need to chronologically arrange the Odyssey, when we didn't really fully discuss that epic? Why can't you just asked us to arrange the different circles of Inferno in Divine Comedy, so I have a sure shot to pass the test. Well, as usual the test made me dizzy and want to throw up, good thing I am not fond of eating breakfast especially if we don't have cereals. Ang pangalawa naming test ay Filipino, na kala ko ito ang magsasalba sa aking kalungkutan dahil sa English test ko. Pero ko ay nagkamali, mas mahirap pa ito sa English. Mapapadali sana ito kung mayroon lang kaming "notes" na mababasa at mapag-aaralan. Halos mapaiyak na nga ako dahil wala talaga kong masagot. Sa kaunaunahang pagkakataon tinamad akong magsagot ng isang mahalagang pagsusulit dahil kahit pigain mo ang utak ko eh wala itong maisasagot. Natapos na ang nakalaang oras para sa test ay wala na akong magawa kundi tanggapin na ibabagsak ko ang test. Dalawang test palang ang natatapos gusto ko nang magtaas ng puti bandila at susuko na ako. [tagalog yung post kasi Filipino subject yung topic..hehehe..corny] The third and the test that I really prepared on was ECONOMICS since I need to have a good grade to make up for my quizzes. So I find it quite easy but still challenging, gets? Well, the 3 hours of studying and reading a 50++ pages in my eco book was worth it. I have nothing more to say because so far it is the test that I really enjoyed. August 1, 2008 I only have Physics today. But that one test is equal to the 3 tests I had yesterday, I'm not exaggerating here. I was really bummed after the test and that freaking acceleration due to gravity in ft/s2 that is worth 9 points really made me cry because I forgot its eff'ing value. Damn. Damn. Damn. I will not really dig in to the details because it will just make me feel more depressed. Well, that was just the first periodic test that I took for this year and I think I screwed it up. I not really feeling good because even though it is just a test its still important to me as a student. I'm going to test another important test on Sunday that will precisely determine my future, so good luck to me and to the other thousand students that will take the UPCAT. 0 Comments: |
