i'm used to the cold

Klase sa Pisika: Bariz, Dargs, Jamie

25 days before my 2nd favorite holiday, Christmas. It's my second because my fave holiday is halloween..haha..But I love the weather these past few days, I love the cold air touching my face and messing up my hair. But honestly, I can't feel the "Christmas spirit"; unless I go to SM, where I can hear different Christmas tunes. We don't even have a Christmas tree and Christmas lights decorated in our house kasi tinatamad daw si mama..hehe. But I hope I'll feel the "Christmas Spirit" sooner..hehe..

Projects and school works are still piled up and I hope teachers will not give requirements anymore, and I hope Ms. Napoles will have pity and will not give us amblin but the commandments (like that's gonna happen). But at least little by little I'm starting to finish the requirements for this hell of a quarter, like awhile ago I spent the whole day at Ber's place doing our diorama for english with Nikki d., Shihnnie and Mel; Ida and Justin are also present because they are making their PE project. I envy them because they finished their video documentation in PE; unlike our group, but thanks to Bariz na nag-presenta na gumawa, of course we're going to help too.hehe.

my weird week..
  • earthquake alert..hehe..it was last tuesday during our nose bleeding seatwork in Chemistry
  • three typhoons but no class suspension..
  • another project, now it's in our Research class
  • group bio data..for Chemistry
  • Paulinian Link (school newspaper) was finally distributed :)
  • my weird mood swings, who doesn't have especially these busy days?.
  • Aghamatemahika..Southville was the declared winner.."I dont argue with fools" -Ms. Sharon Toledo
  • kudeta..haha..
  • the national curfew yesterday..martial law??haha
Hey for those who don't know, Ateneo Blue Eagles is the champion in the National Collegiate Championship held last Wednesday. They played against the University of Visayas Green Lancers. Nonoy Baclao is the MVP in the said tournament. But Chris Tiu is still the best :)

By the way I got a new haircut, of course my hair became shorter..heheh..byebye, I still need to study for the elimination of the Soc. Sci. quiz bee tomorrow..byebye ulit..

Ice Scream..
Friday, November 23, 2007, 8:52 PM

bulletin board of St. Anthony

Another busy had passed but not as stressful as last week. And actually this week was great: ice making in Chemistry; good results of DT; kathlyn's blow-out at yellow cab last November 21; and a lot more. Junior year is the hardest and most stressful but it is also the happiest year in high school (so far, let's see what will happen next year).
So hottest topic these past few days was the shocking and unexpected voluntary exiting of Mcoy Fundales and Ethel Booba in the ever famous Bahay ni Kuya. There was a misunderstanding between Big Bro and Mcoy, then Ethel is really pissed due to the phone call something. Huhuhu, I really like the personality of Mcoy, he speaks what is on his mind and he is not afraid of it. Grabe, nakakainiskasi si Kuya eh, if he wants to be respected he should be the first one to respect his housemates.
I planned to change my layout tonight but I need to sleep early because I'll attend our Family Day tomorrow, so I'll try to post it na lang tomorrow :) good night

i'm in equilibrium again..
Monday, November 19, 2007, 7:29 PM

Physics test is over, and now I can say that the 3rd departmental test is officially over, and imagine 1 more long test and 2 more periodic tests then we are off to our senior year. yehey. but before that "marami pa akong kakainin na bigas"..hehe..no joke I still have a ton of project to work on. But as for now I'm allowing my self to relax for a couple of days, then I'm back again in being a goodie-goodie student who makes assignments and study for quizzes..haha.. So how's the test results? It is not that high but it's okay considering that I didn't really put effort in studying for the test :)

JOKE TIME na nga lang tayo..
quotable quotes..

Sir Sarmientos way of reminding us to be honest in taking the test.
"He who does, who does is HUDAS.."haha bumenta kaya yan sa akin..

Fenina said to John when we our checking our test papers in Filipino..
"John how can you face your problem, if your problem is your face." haha..*laughs*
Recess time..Melanie and Jamie's English Vocabulary very own application..

but you chose to break my heart
Sunday, November 18, 2007, 8:45 AM

After the hard, mind-boggling, nose bleeding, and headache carrier departmental test, we (me, Ber, Ida, and Bariz) went off to Alabang Town Center. It was my first time to go to ATC with my friends, and it was a really fun experience. We dine at pancake house which was a treat of Ber's parents (thank you), we also stroll the mall, fit dresses and lastly we watched One more chance. I'll upload the photos in my multiply. The movie is good but honestly I can't relate to some of the scenes, but my over-all view is that the actors and actresses in the movie had done a marvelous and terrific job. Surely it was a fun afternoon, and for a couple of hours I forget my thing-to-do over this one day weekend. If you can notice it, we always have a Saturday classes, this is because of the freaking long break due to the rains last August and until now we are suffering from it. I still have my physics test tomorrow before I can say that the hell departmental test is over.
  • study for physics
  • make my movie report for soc. sci. "master and the commander"
  • continue answering my seat work turned assignment in Geometry
  • memorizing my sonnet for English, which I have a 50% possibility to recite it tomorrow
  • My essay in Filipino, "wala mang-aalipin kung walang magpapaalipin"

those are the things I need to accomplish today, plus I'm experiencing paranoia because I really want na to see the test result. I think I should start doing the things in my to-do list, so I can strike through one of those before lunch. byebye (^_^)

Promise. a word that is used in a lot a occasions, gasgas na gasgas na nga mga promises na yan eh, at marami ng nasakatan, naloka at nagpakamatay dahil dyan. What I'm pointing out is that it is not easy to make promises because there are instances that we can't fulfill it and we end up hurting someone else and even disappointing ourselves. So always remember to keep your promises..

We already submitted one of our requirements in English the script of Romeo and Juliet, and according to Mr. Catanghal it is a very creative script, if you're curious about it, click here. We also had our mock wedding in our CLVE class click here for the photos. I think this will be my last post for this week because I will study of the DT tomorrow and on Friday. Good luck na lang sa akin, I hope I can pass all the test. ^_^

my weirdness is eating me..whaha
Tuesday, November 13, 2007, 4:22 PM

I only have two days to prepare to the upcoming departmental test. It was shorten period today, which means early dismissal, there is nothing worth sharing for today, it is just a stereotype day: discussions, seatworks plus a long homily from Ms. Gonzales with matching teary-eyes. But I still enjoy this day, wala lang I just feel happy nowadays. I just post today because I want to share to you a news about Chris Tiu. Yesterday Ruth told me that Chris Tiu will be playing basketball for the RP team in the upcoming SEAgames, so I decided to search the net of more proofs.

Pros, Gabe eyed to form core of RP 5
By ABAC CORDERO
The Philippines Star
The RP men’s basketball team for the coming 24th Southeast Asian Games in Thailand has pushed the panic button.
A month before the games, Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas president Manny Pangilinan, executive director Patrick Gregorio and RP team godfather Mikee Romero have called for a revamp of the current team which would include a number of pro players.
"If we send the current team to the SEA Games, I don’t think we can win the gold medal," Romero, the youthful owner of Harbour Centre, said Wednesday.
In a lengthy meeting the other night at the PLDT main office in Makati, the SBP brass, including Ricky Vargas, Chino Trinidad, Christian Tan, and coaches Junel Baculi, Louie Alas, Fritz Gaston and Frankie Lim, came up with a list of candidates for inclusion to the team while keeping the nucleaus of the squad.
They are Arwind Santos, KG Canaleta, Ranidel de Ocampo, Wynne Arboleda, Homer Se and Egay Billones of Air21 in the PBA, Gabe Norwood, Elmer Espiritu, Al Vergara and TY Tang of the PBL, Chris Tiu of the UAAP and Ogie Menor of the NCAA.
But PBA chair Tony Chua of Red Bull said the plan of tapping players from Air21 to reinforce the RP squad is not possible.
"We have an understanding with the SBP that the PBA will only provide players for the Asian Games and FIBA-Asia and not the Southeast Asian Games. So it’s very doubtful that it will be approved by the board," Chua told The STAR last night.
PBA acting commissioner Sonny Barrios, for his part, said the SBP has yet to inform the league about its plan and even if they do, it would clash with the agreement forged by the SBP and the league.
"There is an existing policy regarding the PBA’s role in SBP and unless the board make amendments or reverses its own, the policy stays," said Barrios.
From the current roster, only Beau Belga, Jason Castro, Chad Alonzo and Alex Crisano look sure of keeping their posts. The others will have to undergo serious consideration to make it to Thailand.
"New names were generated to reinforce the team and help us keep the gold which is quite important for the country. We’re doing what’s needed to be done. Just give us a few days," said Pangilinan.
"We realize that. We’re aware of that (time constraint). We’re appealing to the PBA to help out. There’s an issue. There’s a problem but we have to deal with it. We have to confront the issue. And in dealing with it everybody will have to cooperate. We’re not asking PBA to give up their marquee players," said Pangilinan.
"This is going to be the first gold medal for the SBP," said Gregorio.

the emptiness makes me happy
Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 7:17 PM

"The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything."
Contentment is the key to happiness. I just feel to blog, but honestly I have nothing to share. I'll change my layout over our one-day weekend, yup, we only have a day for rest because we will have Saturday class.huhu. Grabe padagdag ng padagdag ang mga project namin, like we have 3 projects for English and one of it is the sonnet recitation; I chose sonnet 116...

Let me not to the marriage of true minds

Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,

That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;

Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me prov'd,
I never writ, nor no man ever lov'd.

a one sided coin
Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 7:15 PM

"Many people live in a black-and-white world or a right-and-wrong world."
In life there is no right or wrong answer; and we tend to make choices, and each choice has a consequence. It is often said that a coin has two sides. And I have never seen a one-sided coin. But all too often we forget that fact. We often think the side we are on is the only side or the right side. My point is we make choices, and no matter what choice we take there is always a consequence (Newton's third law: In every action, there is an equal or opposite reaction). Life is not multiple choice nor an analysis type of test and definitely it is not fill in the blank test. Life is like an essay test, there is no right or wrong answer. Caution!! Our choices can hurt other people. And the best example is choosing between the one who can bring the best out of you and the you love, or choosing to say good bye and leave. Choices is all about sacrifice...
Sem break is over and I am back again to reality, being a student. Projects are over flowing, quizzes are more nosebleeding. And our Tension lesson in Physics is nakaka-tense.hahaha. Two day palang kami pumapasok pero parang isa linggo na, dahil sa sobrang raming nangyayari sa buhay ng mga tao. If you are asking; how's my life? I'm still loveless and sleepless, but definitely I'm happy but at the same time problematic (a hundred percent sure, my problem is not about love). And of course I'm still broke and currently experiencing famine and drought.haha..Hey nga pala according to kuya Nico, for everybody's information; "Emo is not a person, it is a genre."wala lng share ko lang..
49 days before christmas :)
joke time: i got this from Nikki Dargartes's joke book
Birds of the same feathers are the same birds..haha
Give him that benefit of the daw..ano daw??..haha.corny

The souls caused traffic..
Friday, November 2, 2007, 8:24 PM

one and a half hour of jam packed traffic at Sucat Road (Memorial Park) last November 1, 2007..for your information that was yesterday..so yesterday we visited our departed love ones at the cemeteries..it was also a chance to bond with your kapamilyas (take note: the alive ones)..haha.. pero aking pinipilit na matanto kung bakit tayong mga Pilipino ay dumadalaw sa sementeriyo sa Araw ng mga Santo eh hindi pa naman araw ng mga umao/patay yun diba?..wow nosebleeding din pala ang tagalog..oh well it has been a tradition, how am I to question it.

a message for my big boss up there
Papa God, I pray for my departed brothers and sister that they may see the light towards your kingdom. I also prayer for the souls who were forgotten and for the aborted babies who didn't had the chance to see the world that you created. I also pray for the souls that are still on the journey of life. Please help us to be like the saints in our own little ways. In Jesus' name, Amen :)

I have a new JUMPER(from freeway)..but it is still a skirt..sale sa SM..and gotta a chance to bond with kuya nico in Starbucks.. I also saw some of my classmates (Justin, Pat, and Jill)..Sem break will be over soon, and I still need to finish my assignmentsssssssss..huhu..bye..
