Trick or Treat
Wednesday, October 31, 2007, 4:51 PM

dandan (w/ the scary mask) and me
Happy Halloween everyone. This day has been a treat so far, because it is the start of the so called sem break. I just rest and browse the net (so this is what you call life) haha. Sadness, I will miss the treat or trick in our old neighbor :( Oh well, I'm too old din naman to go trick or treating. I'll just watch horror films later para naman mafeel ko ang halloween spirit.
Don't you just hate it
When you finally realized that he important
But suddenly he walked away and never said good bye
Don't you just hate it
When you need a shoulder to cry on
But no one is there to wipe those tear in your eyes
Don't you just hate it
When things seems to be right
Then all of a sudden you'll discover it's all been lies and cover-ups
Don't you just hate it
When you love someone
But his heart already belongs to someone else
And all you can do is to be a friend
Emo?? Actually I made that poem last year ngayon ko lang ulit nabasa. Akalain mo may poetic side din pala ako. Hindi na nga ako maka-relate sa poem na yan, so I decided to post it baka sakaling may maka-relate. Happy Halloween ulit, I hope you can sleep tight tonight when someone is watching you. haha. na nakot pa ako. Bye.

Orange team was declared the over-all winner for this year's intramural celebration. I was really shocked when Sir. Ocampo and Sir. Santos announced that we are the Best Pep Squad considering the fact that I really messed-up during the performance. I also want to congratulate Bebeng, Shihnnie and Kathlyn for winning the best banner; the hard work and the sleepless nights really paid off. And congrats din pala sa aming mahal na class president na si Pat Acido dahil siya ang champion sa chess. Go orange!!

After the awarding ceremony, I went to SM Sucat with Ruth, Bebeng, Danders and Karen. Ruth treated us at Yellow Cab because tomorrow is her birthday. Thank you Ruthy and happy happy birthday.

I'm so happy dahil SEM BREAK na!!. I can finally rest and have my "me time", but then I still need to finish some of the requirements over this break. grrrh.

My to-do list over the sem break :(

  • Amblin Corner about the 1st-3rd Commandment
  • My damn Research assignment about median, mean mode and skewness
  • Assignment in Geometry
  • Study our freaking lesson in Physics so I can catch up in our discussion

Oh well, ganyan talaga ang buhay estudyante. By the way, the pictures of the intrams are in my multiply site. Byers.

..childhood memories..
Monday, October 29, 2007, 7:21 PM

What can you remember when you hear the words platform shoes, girly tunes, a lot of singing and dancing? Of course it is none other than Spice Girls, the all-girl group with the British accent in the side. I can still clearly remember the times I got addicted with this group. I danced and sang along with their songs, and I watched Spice World (their movie) like a thousand times already, and can you imagine it is in VHS pa. I can't blame you for thinking that it is "corny", but I know you will all agree when I say, that every little girls even some boys got hooked with the tunes of the Spice Girls. This memories just pop into my mind when we (ate jessa and I) watched the Spice World in youtube this afternoon. Grabe, I just realized that I grow up so fast and tend to forgot how fun it is to be a child. I been busy these past few weeks and it is really relaxing at the same time it is fun to review my childhood time line; and laugh with my craziness, naughtiness and with my childhood dramas.

For those who are also fans of Spice Girls this is a clip from their movie The Spice World.

So let's talk about a more serious issue like the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election, that happened today. I always believe that big changes starts from small voices. So I hope that everyone exercise their right to vote and I also hope that you chose the right leaders that are capable and trustworthy.

a message to heaven :)
Dear Papa God,
Thank you for giving us intellect and freedom to choose the leaders of our community. Thank you for allotting this day for us to vote your stewards of peace and unity in our Barangays. I ask your guidance and protection for our community, so that we can live in harmony and peace. And please appoint only those people who are capable and those who will bring our community close to your glory. Amen. And I leave up to you the corrupt and greedy officials, may you enlighten their dark minds and hearts, so that they may see that their are a lot of people who need their help.

So tomorrow will be the awarding of our Intramurals 2007, I wonder what team will win. I hope it will the orange team. hehe. Syempre team ko yun eh. I'll try to change my layout during the sem-break. Bye. ^_^

i just want to rest!
Saturday, October 27, 2007, 8:50 PM

i miss blogging. I wasn't able to blog these past few days because I'm busy and of course I used my free time for sleep and resting; God is the only one who knows how tried i am.

So, why is Jamie busy??
  1. This week is the last week of classes before the so-called sem break, so the teacher are rushing to finish the lesson because a week after our sem break; we will have our 3rd departmental test. And not to mention the nose bleeding the quizzes we had for this week, especially the one we had for our physics class (damn, it's so fucking hard). Hindi na naawa ang aming mga teachers nagbigay pa ng mga assignments and project :( so give me a reason why should i enjoy the sem break.
  2. I also recharge myself after the Vigan trip (by sleeping, during my free time); I need to gain the energy I have exerted during the trip.
  3. Banner for the orange team. Actually, I'm not an officially banner maker for the team, but I helped Bebeng, Shihnnie, and Kathlyn. It was really fun, but at the same time it was stressful; plus you will get high because of the smell of the paint (kawawa naman ang lungs ko)..haha. But the sleepless nights are worth it, because our banner looks good beautiful.
  4. Cheering practice. As usual, I ended up to be a pep squad member. At least this year we only have to memorize three cheers. Siyempre nakalat naman ako noong actual presentation. hahaha.
How our intramurals? BORING. so forgive me if I only have a few pictures, because this event is not worth remembering, and it is not even worth it for the flash of my camera. Bummers, I know enjoyment is control by our intellect, so I can ask my self to be happy, pero wala talaga akong magagawa kasi sobrang shit ng intrams. click here for the picture.

I watched the Battle of the band at St. Andrews awhile ago. Walalang share ko lang. hehe. I saw my crush when I was in first year and nag-hi siya sa akin. hehehe. In fairness, some of the bands are really good. Thanks pala kay Bariz (basta 25 pesos lang yungbabayaran ko hah?) and thank you na rin for doing "the favor" :D

Joke time

During our pep squad practice..

papin yung tugtog.

cheer leader: Anong ba naman yan, gawin niyo ulit yung action ninyo sa papit.
drummer: anong papit, bisaya ng pupet.
pep squad: haha *laughs* benta

Soc. Sci. class
Sir. Sarmiento: Anong sinabi ng baby centipede kaya nahimatay yung daddy centipede?
Class: ano??
Sir. Sarmiento: Daddy, daddy bili ninyo ako ng havaianas.
hahaha

vigan madness...
Sunday, October 21, 2007, 1:03 PM

ang mga Viganista..

Last Friday 40 students (Juniors and some Sophomores) left St. Paul College of Pque to discover the historical city of Vigan. We were supposed to leave at 6 am, but we left at 6.30 because some people are late (pinoy time nga naman!) The trip was long but it is fun, we watched Romeo and Juliet, but didn't able to finished it because the teachers said that it is too much for our age. (ang corny talaga) So we just eat, eat and eat. The trip was almost 12 hours with 4 stop-overs.

three most common things i saw on our road trip to vigan.
  1. cementaries..a lot..
  2. trees. diffent shape and size
  3. goats and cows.
Some asked me, "Jamie, sulit ba yung 3, 300 na binayad mo for this trip?" Uhmm..I enjoy the trip and i love the vintage and oldy look of Vigan; and I also got a chance to bond with some of my grade school classmates and met new friends. One thing that irritates me is the resort where we stayed, the ambience outside is good; but the nipa hut/room we stayed is so unrelaxing plus the CR is so small plus there is a lot of FLYING crockroaches. Take note of the word flying.

So i made a list of must see and must try in Vigan
  1. kalesa ride. thank you pala kay manong and his horse Ronald for giving us a ride.
  2. Shop at the Heritage Plaza, they have a lot of cool Vigan shirts there
  3. Visit Chavit Singson's Baluarte, where you can have a pony ride for free.
  4. Prepare yourself for the corny jokes of others, especially when you are in the bus, which reminds me, thank pala sa unadrea tours that kept us safe and made sure that we are comfortable in our road trip.
  5. Attend an Ilokano mass, eventhough you can't understand anything.

i really enjoyed. this is one of the trip that i'm sure that i will remember and cherish. ^_^ i hope all that joined also had fun. click here for the pictures.

damn piece of fries..
Tuesday, October 16, 2007, 8:40 PM

Leah (my little sister) and I just finished fighting over a fries from mcdonald, i'm the older one so i should be the one na "magbibigay". grrrh. and besides i eat french fries almost everyday at school (if you will open my stomach you'll just see two things: hershey's and cheese flavored french fries).

Practices for the intramurals started today. I didn't join any event so I'm stuck being a pep squad member again, but I didn't attend the practice kanina (bad girl..haha); marami din naman ang hindi umattend eh. Kaya nagkaroon ng Casio Frantonino (sponsored by: muncher green peas and a lot more) in our classroom; yung mga hindi umattend ng practice played uno stacko, scrabble and chess. Speaking of chess, I lost to Jamie Ramos in the round two of our chess match. so 1-1 na kami, tomorrow we will have the last round.

Finally tuloy na rin ang Vigan trip namin, 100% sure na ito. we will have the orientation for the Lakbay Kasaysayan tomorrow. And another shucking news, Ms. Yap is officially our new Chemistry teacher (^_^ )
byers..

LSS..Jenny of The Click Five..Kyle Patrick is so HOT!!

bummer..i wasn't able t0 watch THE CLICK FIVE at Alabang Town Center kanina, because papa went to Cavite. Oh well, i'm still broke more than ever, so it is okay, because once i step out of our house; money vanishes easily. I guess, i should be lock up in our house and i should lessen my shopping budget. But sayang talaga, today is the last day of Click Five's tour here in the Philippines.

i watched OTH season 3 over this weekend. i watched it for 3 times already but i still cry and laugh with it. i really love the episode when the ravens won (but nathan didn't play because he skipped his Political Science class), then there's a storm that cause a black-out. Keith-Karen, Nathan-Haley, and Brooke-Lucas make out. i really love that episode..

it is monday tomorrow. back to school again. we will meet ms. gonzales tomorrow for our music class, scary..hehe..but she is a good teacher. i still need to read the first two chapter of El Filibusterismo, but whenever i start reading the first chapter (which is actually more or less 4 pages) hindi ko rin natatapos. by the way, we will our book report in English. I need a modern contemporary novel, any suggestions?? just leave a message. okay..byebye, ate jessa needs the computer.

super pagod..
Wednesday, October 10, 2007, 5:51 PM

Vigan Tour is again postponed. next week na lang daw..haaay..but it is okay, at least i can rest this coming friday and weekends. yup, walang pasok sa friday to respect the Eid ul-Fitr (end of ramadam) of our muslim brothers and sisters.

we had our living rosary this morning. FYI, October is the month of the Holy Rosary and Mission month, so find time to prayer the rosary and share your blessings to the needy. today is also the start to the second sem. so good bye THE and health, and hello computer and music. then we had our role play of the Holy Eucharist in CLVE, sobrang nakakatawa, paano ba naman si john macs ang priest..hehe..congrats St. Anthony, we did it..hehe. Because of our mock mass, late kami sa physics class. We made a tall and stable structure in physics, that is made out of 30 pieces of straw, 5 pieces of bond paper and scotch tape in just 20 minutes..sobra talagang panic.

nikki, ako and bariz while making our structure..

nikki: bariz, tape-pan mo na 'to..
jamie: scissors..
bariz: na saan yung tape..
but at least our structure is stable and tall..mas matangkad sa akin..hehe..
joke time....
anong paniki ang mababa ang lipad??
edi. LOW BAT..haha
knock, knock
who's there?
density..
density who??
baby your my density, you and i are meant to be..
haha..corny..tawa na lang kayo..bye :D

so i'm researhing my assignment in chemistry, that is all about matter. but i decided to take a short break (actually tinatamad lang ko). i really miss sir. baggay, but i'm not expecting him to come back anymore. masakit man isipin, but it is the reality. mrs. tomaro (the teacher who was supposed to take sir. baggay's loads) also resigned. so we are suck with ms. yap with the pull-out regular, and we are having our chemistry subject in the Damascus hall. so parang one versus 100 kami. haha.. but at least may teacher na kami and mas lumaki ang class namin (the more the merrier and nosier)..hehehe..

finally tuloy na rin yung Lakbay Kasaysayan (the Vigan tour).. we will leave on Thrusday and I think Saturday na kami uuwi. I started packing kanina but I don't know what to bring na clothes, kaya nag-stop na rin ko. I'll just pack tomorrow evening. So what's the best way to relax after our headache-and-migraine-carrier-tests?? go to VIGAN..hahaha..

bye..gagawin ko na yung assignment ko sa chem. bye :D

naputol yung blog ko yesterday kasi umalis kami..

while in the car going to Tita Ednie's house:

jamie: ate nagkaroon ng universities and colleges promotion kanina sa school.
ate jessa: anung mga school?
jamie: St. Paul Manila and QC, Letran and DLS-Benilde.

October na malapit na ang Christmas, the time of giving and sharing naman.. kaya i need to start saving my allowance..bye :)

over fatigue..
Saturday, October 6, 2007, 5:56 PM

So second quarter periodic test is over for some, but for the POF students, it is not, because we still need to take our Physics test on Monday. The tests are damn hard. Not to mention having internal hemorrhage while answering the mind boggling questions. And regretting that I did not memorize the Avogadro's number (6.02 X 10 rise to 23th power). haay. I'll change the topic because I don't want to talk about test, it just makes me more worried about my grades. And for now, I just want to relax and have a little bit of fun.

Thrusday (October 4) = first day of the periodic test. i spend the afternoon bonding with Ruth, Danders and Bebeng. Nga pala, I almost forgot, the UE- DLSU game. The guys in green won and tomorrow will be the second game. I can't wait to watch the game and see who will win..hehe..

Friday (October 5) = test again..bonding time with Sofia at Starbucks. Where we had a coffee tasting session with one of the barista.

Step in tasting coffee
  1. smell it..
  2. slurp it..the louder the better..
  3. locate the taste in your tongue..
  4. describe the experience..

spending time with an old friend with free coffee..what more can you ask?? but because of that, i had a hard time to sleep last night because i'm over-caffeinated...

then today, we had a the universities and colleges promotion: Letran, DLSU-Benilde, St. Paul universities and South Ville Internation School..then Shihnnie, Irene and I went to Mcdo Kabihasnan to make our project in Geometry..grabe sobrang busy ko nowadays..bye bye na, we will go pala sa house ni Tita Ednie for a dinner..bye :)

my random thoughts for monday
Monday, October 1, 2007, 7:16 PM

erase the monday sickness for today, i'm excited to go to school.. why??
  • i want to hear the reactions of my classmates about the knock out game of ateneo-la salle yesterday.
  • i had a long weekend to recharge myself. i went to school stress-free because i finished almost all the requirements over the weekend.
  • and lastly, as weird as it seems, i kindda expect sir. baggay to be present today and say that we are just being punk'd but unfortunately no mr. baggay today. yah, i know i should move on and accept the fact the my favorite teacher is gone but you can't blame me, i really miss his corny jokes and of course sir. baggay himself..

we finished noli me tangere during our filipino class; the ending is so tragic, and the novel contradicts the saying that love conquers all. even though maria clara and crisostomo ibarra love each other, they still sacrificed their love, so the people around them will be happy. "college plans" is also the hot topic the day, i envy those people who already have plans for college because if you'll ask me, i have no idea what will happen to my life after high school. at least ruth and i started browsing the dictionary in preparation for the entrance exams for college. na-adik naman kami. we discovered that yen has another meaning as side for being a monetary unit of japan, it's another meaning is strong desire; zephyr, zany and yes man are just some of the newly instored words in our word bank. haha..

i'm dove-tailing at this moment. imagine i'm doing three thing at the same time; i'm finishing my assignment in filipino, obviously i'm blogging, and downloading new tunes from limewire. hehe. as usual we have a lots of assignments and quizzes these days kasi malapit na matapos ang 2nd quarter. sige na siningit ko lang naman ang pagpo-post, and i still need to start studying for the periodic test.

but joke time muna..

dinner time..

mama: kinikilig talaga ako pagkumakain ng belly (taba ng bangus)

jamie: oo nga nakaka-umay yan.

ate jessa: bakit ma crush mo yung belly.

mama:bakit?

ate jessa: kasi sabi mo nikikilig ka eh.

jamie: wheee.*laughs*

contagious na yata ang kacornihan ko pati si ate nahawa na..haha ^_^
